So, if you haven’t seen part 1 of this shoot, go here. We worked in a really pretty green space, and then we decided to move to a nearby field, which had amazing touches of autumn, and the light was too pretty – late afternoon, between clouds = perfect filtered light! Again Claudio was up to his antics, making Mia (and me) laugh. Mia then changed into a a dress, and to be honest watching the two of them just do their thing, I decided that I’d go with the more “dressy” and posed look – and it worked. One of my “tricks” is to take each child and work with them alone, away from everybody – and I always find the best way to get them into a “natural” state is just to chat and ask questions – it’s interesting what kids will share, the things that make them happy, the things that have a profound effect on them, the things they notice or observe… And of course, my objective is achieved… getting natural candid moments! Listening to Mia share stories of her two grannies was really special! And as always, loads of fun was had by everyone – testimony to that, is when I leave a location, wishing we hadn’t run out of time or light (whichever comes first :-)! D. Family thank you for the opportunity and enjoy the post!
